The Bugo NHS Committee on Enrollment gave data that the school exceeds its expected enrolment ceiling. The enrollment numbers for School Year 2020-2021 are encouraging because despite the challenges caused by COVID-19, a clear majority of the parents have decided that the education of their children must continue.
The data were represented as of September 2020.
Bugo NHS as forecasted last 2017 by the School-Based Management (SBM) Team that the school will undergo a dramatic increase by the year 2020. Indeed, the pandemic brought by COVID 19 shows the upward trend of the school’s enrollees.
The comparison of
the data shows the upward trend of the enrollees. It is deduced that many
learners from private schools transferred to our school.
On the other hand, Bugo NHS will still allow late enrollees. As stated in Sec V.D, of Department Order No. 003, s.2018, “A school may accept late enrollees provided that the learner will be able to meet eighty percent (80%) of the prescribed number of school days for each school year and the quarterly requirement to pass the grade level as governed by the latest existing applicable DepEd issuances.”
Bugo NHS community expresses appreciation to the general public, especially the parents of the learners, which continues to believe that DepEd can deliver learning opportunities through various learning delivery modalities in a safe manner.
The leadership of our School Principal, Roel R. Lamberte contributed a lot in the continuous preparation for the opening of classes. Furthermore, the school extend its warm appreciation to the teachers and staff, local government units, members of the Education Forum, NGOs, LGUs, and the private sectors for their valuable contributions for supporting the school.
