assist them during these trying times,” the school principal added.
The Live Webinar series discussed various
topics about mental health. These are the following topics:
1. CYBERBULLYING: MISUSE OF TECHNOLOGY TO
HARASS OTHERS - May 13-14, 2021, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM/ 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
This program aims to understand the aftermath Cyberbullying.
Strategies to stop and prevent cyberbullying were discussed.
2. MODESTY AND CHASTITY: TO STAND FOR AND DO
WHAT IS RIGHT - May 18-19, 2021 - 11:00 AM/ 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
The theme of the episode revolved around
understanding one’s well-being and will delve deeper into increasing
self-awareness to thrive and excel in the new normal and understanding the
psychology behind emotions.
3. OVERCOMING DEPRESSION: STAYING EMOTIONALLY
RESILIENT DURING THE PANDEMIC - May 20-21, 2021 - 11:00 AM/ 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
This program aims to develop a resilient
workforce that can withstand current and future crises and equip the youth with
ways to protect their mental health amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and promote the
well-being.
4.
SOCIAL MEDIA AND MENTAL HEALTH - May 27-28, 2021 - 11:00 AM/ 1:00 - 3:00 PM
It aims to provide discussions on positive
coping mechanisms to combat stress and other challenges to a person’s mental
health brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Guest speakers were varied and they give their
own expertise on the subject matter. The activities were greatly valued by
participants!
