One of the most common ways to think about teaching online is to consider whether it might be synchronous, asynchronous, or a mixture of both.
The Bugo National High School in the
leadership of Roel R. Lamberte, take a stride in leading the implementation of
new learning modality among the learners to pursue online learning. He implements
the bichronous learning modality for this school year 2021-2022.
In an EDUCAUSE Review article, bichronous is a term define as “the blending of both asynchronous and
synchronous online learning, where students can participate in anytime,
anywhere learning during the asynchronous parts; but actively participate in
real-time activities for the synchronous sessions.
What comes to your mind when we say Synchronous and asynchronous? Synchronous teaching is where the teacher is present at the same time as the learner(s). This is almost always the case in a face-to-face environment. The learners in synchronous online teaching can ask questions in real time. All students must work through the subject at a similar pace as everyone needs to be online together. If a learner is not available for a lesson, they miss it (although teachers will record lessons for those students to view later).

and Asynchronous Learning Modality among the parents and students
