THE AGENTS OF CHANGE TO THE FUTURE

The BUGO NHS congratulates, BSP Dariel Bais for being elected to represent Eastern Mindanao Region for the National Youth Forum. Dariel Bais was the first BSP-CDO delegate to reach the national level!

The Scout Youth Forum, a primordial part of the Youth Development Program is organized to fill in the need and the clamor for youth participation in the decision-making process in the Scout Movement.

It is a place for information, training, and the concrete experience of discussing and acquiring a deeper understanding of various issues. It is also a source of inspiration by providing contact with new people, fresh ideas, innovative thoughts, different experiences, and working methods.

The forum was done virtually and participated by over 20 councils. A youth forum is an annual event of Boy Scout of the Philippines. It really concludes that the youth formation is still active despite the pandemic.

EARTHQUAKE DRILL: DUCK, COVER & HOLD

No matter where you are, know how to protect yourself during an earthquake. The Bugo NHS takes the implementation of earthquake drill seriousness even though there were no students around and the school has few staff working on it due to the skeletal working arrangement.

Everyone practice taking cover as if there were an earthquake and learn the safest places in the workplace. Everyone safely went out from their respective office and classroom.

Tips When in a HIGH-RISE BUILDING:

Move against an interior wall if you are not near a desk or table. Protect your head and neck with your arms.

When on a SIDEWALK NEAR BUILDINGS, duck into a doorway to protect yourself from falling bricks, glass, plaster and other debris.
